관계사 앞에 있는 선행사가 무엇인지 확인하면 관계대명사인지 관계부사인지 쉽게 구별할 수 있습니다.

This is the place where I was born. 👉 여기가 내가 태어난 곳이다.

I remember the park where we played as children. 👉 나는 우리가 어릴 때 놀았던 공원을 기억한다.

Do you know the restaurant where they serve the best pizza? 👉 너는 그들이 최고의 피자를 제공하는 레스토랑을 아니? I will never forget the day when we first met. 👉 나는 우리가 처음 만난 날을 절대 잊지 않을 것이다.

여기서 잠깐 ) 

"the way how"는 문법적으로 틀린 표현이야.
이유는 "the way" 자체가 '방법'을 의미하기 때문에 "how"를 함께 쓰면 중복이 되기 때문이야.

🚫 틀린 표현:
❌ This is the way how she solved the problem.
❌ I don't like the way how he talks.

✅ 올바른 표현:
✔ This is the way she solved the problem.
✔ I don't like the way he talks.
✔ This is how she solved the problem.

즉, "the way"를 쓸 거면 "how"를 빼고,
"how"를 쓸 거면 "the way"를 빼야 맞는 문장이 돼.
