2형식 영어 문장

 

영어 문장은 크게 5가지 형식으로 나뉘며, 그중 2형식 문장은 ‘주어(S) + 동사(V) + 보어(C)’ 구조로 이루어집니다. 2형식 문장은 주어의 상태나 성질을 설명하는 역할을 하며, 대표적인 동사로 be동사, 감각동사(look, sound, feel 등), 상태변화 동사(become, get, turn 등), 상태유지동사(prove, seem, remain 등)가 사용됩니다. 1형식 문장에 특이한 there be 동사 구문 기억안나실 수 있습니다.당황하지 말고 아래 복습 다시하기 가셔서 꼭 비교해서 정리하세요

2형식 문장의 주요 동사 특징

 

1) Be동사 (am, is, are, was, were)

📌주어의 상태나 신분을 나타냅니다.

예문:

  1. She is a teacher. (그녀는 선생님이다.)
  2. This book was interesting. (이 책은 흥미로웠다.)
  3. The weather is cold today. (오늘 날씨가 춥다.)
  4. He was very tired. (그는 매우 피곤했다.)
  5. They are best friends. (그들은 가장 친한 친구이다.)
  6. The cake is delicious. (그 케이크는 맛있다.)
  7. The room was quiet. (그 방은 조용했다.)
  8. The sky is blue. (하늘은 파랗다.)
  9. This problem is serious. (이 문제는 심각하다.)

2) 감각동사 (look, sound, feel, taste, smell)

📌 감각을 표현할 때 사용되며, 보어로 형용사가 옵니다.

예문:

  2. This cake tastes sweet. (이 케이크는 달콤한 맛이 난다.)
  3. The music sounds relaxing. (그 음악은 편안하게 들린다.)

  5. She feels nervous before the exam. (그녀는 시험 전에 긴장된다.)

3) 상태변화 동사 (become, get, turn, grow, fall, go, come, run, remain, stay)

📌 주어의 변화 상태를 나타냅니다.

예문:

  1. She became a doctor. (그녀는 의사가 되었다.)
  2. It got dark. (어두워졌다.)
  3. The leaves turned red. (잎들이 붉게 변했다.)
  4. He grew taller. (그는 키가 더 컸다.)
  5. The situation remained unchanged. (상황이 변하지 않았다.)
  6. The milk went bad. (우유가 상했다.)
  7. The weather fell cold. (날씨가 추워졌다.)

4) 상태유지 동사 (prove, seem, appear, remain, stay, keep, continue, hold, end up, turn out)

📌 주어의 상태를 유지하거나 입증할 때 사용됩니다.

  1. The theory proved correct. (그 이론은 옳다고 판명되었다.)
  2. He seems happy. (그는 행복해 보인다.)
  3. The sky appeared cloudy. (하늘이 흐려 보였다.)
